What a night. [Non-Oscars Edition]
I absolutely was not emotionally ready for the Cardinals to sign Albert Pujols. I’m going to be able to go to the ballpark with my kids to watch Albert Pujols play for the Cardinals. I’m beyond excited.

If that was the shot, here’s the chaser. A week and a half after dropping masks: multiple COVID cases in Vale’s class. We’re all negative and asymptomatic, but what a gut punch. I’m beyond grateful for everyone involved here and for systems in place that not only caught this, but also still let’s her go to school.
It’s hard to say this in the face of what’s happened, but I still think dropping masks was the right call. I wish there was a better system in place that dictated when and when not to require masks in schools, but I think this instance is more in the “bad luck” category than the “we dropped masks too soon” category.

My Mac Studio finally started to prepare for shipping! The original delivery estimate was April 8-15. While I was fairly certain that I’d get it before we leave for Akumal on April 10, I’m cautiously optimistic that I’ll have it by the end of the week.
