Widow’s Bay Season 1 Pound for pound, this is the best new show I’ve seen in a long time. I honestly can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a show so much. Further proves my core belief that comedy and horror are basically the same thing
Disclosure Day: information doesn’t have negative or positive value– only the actions that people take because of it. But bringing someone from unknown to known can be scary; it requires empathy and understanding.

Finished reading: God, Human, Animal, Machine by Meghan O’Gieblyn I can’t do justice to this in my normal short post, but it’s an encompassing look at the blurry lines between the entities in the title. Lays out an incredible case for religion and then just comes to a different conclusion. 📚
Margo’s Got Money Troubles Season 1: I love how this show likes all its characters. It lets them be messy and holds them accountable, but the consequences seem like natural extensions of their actions rather than punishments. Then when a character does a “bad” thing, you get why and can empathize. 📺
For All Mankind Season 5: can’t pull off that finale without what came before it, but what came before it was rough at times. There’s a tightrope to walk when telling a story about protest and grounding that in a literal foreign world is like doing it with a 100 lbs weight around your neck 📺
